Welcome to Search for Raven
UPDATE: Thanks to all that have shared and continue to share my post about Raven. On Saturday (5/4) , a professional pet tracker came to the area where we last saw her playing in the field. A definite track was initiated through the farm and neighboring farm, ending at the roadway. We strongly believe Raven did one of her most favorite things and jumped in a vehicle for a ride as there have been no sightings. Her house is off the road and no one else was home on the road frontage. She does walk with a limp, more noticeable at times, so hopefully the individual picking her up thought she was a stray and did so to get her treatment. I would ask everyone to be on the lookout for any new black labs with a limp in their neighborhood and if you work or know someone that works at a vet, to be on the lookout. I am going to be trying to cast a net already wider with vets and Animal Controls this week. I can’t give up because there’s a little guy that is so worried about his best friend. For his sake, I’d even offer a reward for her safe recovery.
Day 5 of missing Raven. Thanks to all that have shared and continue to share. If you have any friends that walk or bike regularly in George Washington's Birthplace, would you ask if they might have seen her. We lost sight of her around 1115 Monday morning (April 29th) and are on the same road as the park. She is a black lab and walks with a limp at times. Very sweet disposition. I have learned from a Professional Pet Tracker that we should not be calling out to her after the first 24 hours, so if you see her, please just call me with location. 540-907-1097.
